The terminal at Palma de Mallorca Airport

What is the Palma airport terminal like: terminals A/B/C/D, departures and arrivals, and the two runways.

The terminal at Palma de Mallorca Airport

Palma de Mallorca Airport has a single terminal building organised into four modules. A, B, C and D. which operate independently. The Module A It is mainly used for flights outside the Schengen Area; the Modules B, C and D. for flights within the Schengen Area (Spain and most of Europe). The layout is the usual one: check-in and departures upstairs; arrivals and baggage reclaim downstairs.

The two parallel runways (06L/24R and 06R/24L, measuring 3,270 and 3,000 metres respectively) allow for parallel operations. This is why the airport is able to cope with the huge volume of summer traffic: it is Spain’s third-busiest airport in terms of passenger numbers.
