Palma Airport is right next to two of the island’s major accommodation areas: Palma (8 km to the west) and the Playa de Palma —Can Pastilla, s’Arenal— right next door. The rest of the area is spread across the whole of Mallorca: the coast of Calvià to the south-west, the bay of Alcúdia to the north, and the coves to the east and south.

Where you choose to stay determines how you get around: if you’re staying in the city centre, take the A1 bus; if you’re on the Playa de Palma, take the A2; and if your hotel is a long way away — to the north or east — a hire car or a transfer will save you time.
