Privacy Policy

This page explains, plainly, what happens to your data when you visit aeropuertomallorca.com. In one sentence: if you leave the cookie banner alone, or reject it, the guide works just the same and your browser keeps no measurement ID. It is governed by the EU GDPR (2016/679) and Spain’s Organic Law 3/2018 (LOPDGDD).

Who is answerable for it

The Palma de Mallorca Airport (PMI) guide is edited and run by David Franco Aguirre (GoRandom), who is the data controller. For anything to do with your data, write to [email protected].

The data’s journey, step by step

  1. You open the site. Even before you answer the banner, the server and Cloudflare — the layer that blocks attacks and spreads the load — record your IP address, your browser and the page you request. That is the minimum needed to serve and defend the page; the legal basis is legitimate interest and those logs overwrite themselves over time.
  2. You ignore it or say no. No Google cookie is set. At most the page sends a signal with no cookies and no identifier (Google Consent Mode), which Google uses to estimate aggregate usage that does not point to you.
  3. You accept «Statistics». Only then does Google Analytics 4 record which pages you open, how long you stay, the kind of device and the rough area you connect from. We use it to work out which parts of the guide to improve. The basis is your consent, Analytics keeps those events for 14 months, and your IP is not stored.
  4. You send us an email. We keep your address and the message only to reply to you, on the basis of your consent, and delete it once the matter is closed.

Who else touches the data

Hosting is on a server inside the European Union and Cloudflare sees the traffic pass. With your permission, Google Ireland Limited processes the statistics on our behalf and Google LLC may receive them in the United States under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. There is no one else: no data sales, no user accounts, no advertising profiles. There are no ads today either; the day there are, this page will be updated first and nothing will switch on without your consent.

What you can demand

You may access your data, correct it, erase it, object to its use, restrict it and receive a portable copy. Just write to [email protected]. If the reply does not satisfy you, the supervisory authority is the Spanish Data Protection Agency (aepd.es) or the regulator in your own country.

Under-14s

The guide is not aimed at under-14s and does not knowingly gather their data.
